I shot this a while ago on the D300. It was freezing out, hence the jacket.

Laura

Laura (via Lou O’Bedlam)

I’m really digging photographer Lou O’Bedlam’s blog and general philosophy.  He’s constantly shooting pictures (lots of film!), and also seems to love meeting new people.  He hosts a photo meetup on Saturdays where people can come to get their photo taken, or just hang out.  It’s great when the internet can connect people in real life, I hope I can meet him sometime in the near future.  Check his website and flickr when you get to the blog as well.  Good stuff!

P.S. He likes Videodrome.  That’s an A-okay dude in my book.

Polaroid

A triptic of Jess with her Polaroid camera.  I guess that’s the last few Polaroids I’ll be shooting for a while, but  the Fuji peel-apart is pretty nice.

A few pics with the Yashica Jess gave me for Christmas.  The waist-level viewfinder helps you see things in a new way.

Cameras!

Posted in cameras by graham dunn is a city of industry on March 10, 2009

Here are the cameras I like to use:

Film:
1. Mamiya RZ67 with 220 and Polaroid backs (6×7)
2. Yashica 124-G (6×6)
3. Minolta X-7A (35mm)
4. Holga (6×6)
5. Jessica’s Polaroid (not sure what kind)

Digital:
1. Nikon D300
2. iPhone

There are a few I don’t use, but keep for the collection:
1. Yashica Electro 35 (broken)
2. Sears Tower box camera
3. 2 Brownie box cameras (serious light leaks)
4. a micro 110 keychain camera
5. a 110 fisheye camera
